If you support children, young people, parents and carers we would like to talk to you about your experience of working through the pandemic. We are particularly interested in talking to key workers who work with children, young people and families who are care experienced, who have experienced violence or abuse, those known to social care, those with learning disabilities, mental health concerns or physical disabilities, and those who have experienced homelessness.
We want to understand the challenges faced by children young people and families during the pandemic. We also want to understand how your work has adapted to meet those needs, and the challenges and learning you’ve experienced as you’ve responded through the outbreak.
If you want to talk to us, we would like to interview you, via video conferencing or phone. Typically, interviews will last 30-60 minutes.
For more information about the research and ethics. please see our information leaflet here or watch our information video.
If you would like to take part in the study, one of our researchers will contact you to find a time when it would be convenient for you to do the interview. You can email us at face19@stir.ac.uk.
Update: We have now stopped doing interviews with key workers. All participants have been asked to take part to follow-up interviews. We are grateful to everyone who has taken part to them.
